Towns we work in

Pick your town to see the kinds of houses and projects we see there. Don't see yours? Call and ask.

Home base: Medford

If you’re looking for a home renovation contractor near you in Suffolk County, we’re based in Medford, in the Town of Brookhaven, near the middle of Suffolk County. That location is a big part of how we work. From Medford we can reach the South Shore towns on the Great South Bay, like Sayville and Blue Point, and the North Shore around Stony Brook and Port Jefferson, without spending half the day in the truck. Less time driving means more time on your job.

Our five closest towns are Medford, Sayville, Blue Point, Stony Brook and Lake Grove. That’s where most of our work is, and each one has its own page about the houses there and the projects we do most.

Up to 45 minutes from Medford

Beyond our home base, we take renovation work up to about 45 minutes away. That covers a lot of Suffolk County: Patchogue, Holbrook, Holtsville, Coram, Selden, Centereach, Farmingville, Ronkonkoma, Bohemia, Bayport, Bellport, Port Jefferson, Setauket, Smithtown, Middle Island, Shirley, Riverhead and Islip, along with the towns in between.

The houses change a bit from one area to the next. Near the bay you’ll find ranches and bungalows that deal with salt air and damp. Around Lake Grove and Centereach there are a lot of split-levels and high ranches. The North Shore has older colonials. But the work is mostly the same: finishing basements, fixing tired walls and ceilings, new trim and doors, new floors, and decks that need attention.

Drop ceilings out to the Hamptons

For drop ceilings, we go further. We install them all the way out to the Hamptons, in Westhampton Beach, Hampton Bays, Southampton, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor and East Hampton. Out there, it’s often pool houses, finished basements in second homes, shops and offices. They need a ceiling that looks clean and still lets someone get to the lights and mechanicals above.

Town lines and permits

Suffolk County is split into towns, and many areas also sit inside an incorporated village with its own rules. Medford, Blue Point and Stony Brook are in the Town of Brookhaven. Sayville is in the Town of Islip. Lake Grove is an incorporated village inside Brookhaven. If your job needs a permit, it comes from your town or village building department, so it’s worth checking before work starts.

Wherever you are, it works the same way

Whether you’re around the corner in Medford or out in Southampton, you get the same crew and the same process. We come out and look at the job, give you a written, itemized price with a start date and how long the job will take, clean up every day, and walk the finished work with you. Not sure if you’re in range? Call 631-745-9982 and ask.
